PINARELLO BOLIDE TR ULTEGRA DI2 DISC TT/TRIATHLON BIKE

The frame on the Pinarello Bolide TR Ultegra Di2 Disc TT/Triathlon Bike uses exactly the same technology, aerodynamics and geometry as the TR+, but uses T700 UD carbon instead of T100G. In turn, both bikes are based on the incredibly successful Bolide TT bike, but with some significant improvements enabled without the need for UCI compliance.

Pinarello has been able to increase the fork depth and size of the Fork Flap in order to better smooth the airflow around this area, and the top tube bento box actually improves the aerodynamics when in place, sitting neatly integrated behind the stem (the down tube toolbox also aids aerodynamics and is sold separately).

Although time trial bikes are rarely ridden for long distances, Pinarello has made a number of changes for the Bolide triathlon bike in order to make it more suitable for Ironman length races where the bike leg is 180km long.
